All of August, a domain costs less than a pack of gum
There are things a dollar doesn’t buy anymore. A gallon of gas. A candy bar, in some zip codes. Parking, basically anywhere. For the month of August, a .SPACE domain is on the shrinking list of things it still covers — with a penny left over.
From August 1 through 31, any active DreamHost customer can register a .SPACE domain for $0.99 the first year. That’s the entire deal. We’ve spent more words describing it than it costs.
So the only real question is what you point it at. .SPACE is deliberately open-ended — it doesn’t announce an industry or lock you into a vibe, which makes it good for the projects that don’t fit anywhere else.
